Senior Manager - Production Engineering

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 1) Report to Site MD and lead a team of Product / NPI / Test Section Managers, Engineers and Technicians to ensure sustainability of departmental routines. 2) Drive cross-functional department team to meet Product transfer schedule / NPI Engineering KPI in order to achieve site BSC results (including NPI readiness, production process yield and efficiency performance, on time BOM and other Engineering documentation release, NPI / MP launch, EC implementation) 3) Escalation point for NPI and Product Engineering related matters / issues, both internally and with Customers. 4) Lead and drive Engineering team to ensure production process is designed in line with product requirements as well as Industry 4.0 element such as lean manufacturing, automation, real time monitoring and decentralized decision making on any product / process deviation. 5) Provide technical leadership and key decision making in Product & NPI Engineering related issues including root cause analysis and corrective and preventive measure implementation on internal product failures and Customer returns, as well as influence in Customer's decision on DFM proposals. 6) Plan budget and resources, provide coaching and mentoring for the Product Engineering team members to enable them to perform required tasks, advance their career and achieve organizational goals QUALIFICATION REQUIRED: Bachelor Degree in Engineering related discipline, preferably in Electrical or Electronics Engineering. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 1) Minimum 15 years total working experience and at least 2 years in people management role, preferably Electronics Manufacturing related industry. 2) Independent with initiatives, good analytical skills and able to work under minimal supervision. 3) Knowledge in project management and Customer presentation SKILL REQUIRED: 1) Knowledge in FMEA, SPC, and 8D Problem Solving 2) Certification or Knowledge in 6 Sigma (Minitab, GR&R DMAIC, DOE, etc.) and Industry 4.0 is an added advantage
