Durian Farm Supervisor

Key Responsibilities: • Knowledge of soil management, fertilizer application, and pesticide chemicals to ensure durian health, productivity, and sustainability. • Supervise and manage all aspects of farm production to ensure high-quality durian cultivation. • Conduct daily farm inspections and maintain accurate records of findings and activities. • Foster a positive team environment with open communication and collaboration. • Lead by example in promoting discipline, productivity, and a positive work culture among farm workers. • Develop and implement clear work schedules, set team goals, and delegate tasks with specified deadlines. • Oversee and manage day-to-day farm operations to ensure efficiency and productivity. • Monitor and manage resource allocation, including labor, equipment, and supplies, to ensure optimal farm operations. • Provide accurate and timely reports of farm data (e.g., soil pH, productivity levels) to the IoT engineer and management for informed decision-making. • Ability to assist with farm data collection (e.g., soil, water) to support IoT engineers in improving farm efficiency. • Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards across all farming activities. • Collaborate with management to identify and implement farming process improvements. Requirements: • Candidate possess at least Diploma in Agriculture or equivalent is preferred. • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients. • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in farm management, preferably in durian. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. • Ability to work 6 days per week, including weekends when required. Location Requirement: • This position is based in Junjung, Kulim and Sg Pinang, Balik Pulau. • Candidate must be willing and able to work in above mentioned location.
