Position Summary
The Supervisor/Store Manager at Arest Cafe is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, and maintaining a clean, efficient, and profitable café environment. This role requires leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to foster a positive work culture while achieving business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the café, ensuring smooth service flow.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to prevent shortages or wastage.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards.
- Manage opening and closing procedures effectively.
2. Staff Leadership
- Recruit, train, and mentor café staff to maintain high performance.
- Create staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Lead by example in providing excellent customer service and work ethics.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
3. Customer Service
- Maintain a customer-focused environment, ensuring satisfaction and prompt resolution of complaints.
- Develop strategies to enhance the customer experience and build loyalty.
- Promote menu items and special offers to boost sales.
4. Financial Management
- Monitor daily sales and manage cash handling procedures.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping for all financial transactions.
- Assist in meeting sales targets and controlling expenses.
5. Marketing & Promotions
- Collaborate on local marketing initiatives to increase foot traffic and sales.
- Assist in organizing events or promotions to attract customers.
6. Maintenance & Ambience
- Ensure the café’s cleanliness, organization, and aesthetic appeal align with the brand standards.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel for repairs and equipment servicing.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
