Duties and Responsibilities: Production Management - Develop, review, and implement optimized production schedules and workflows, assigning tasks to team members based on order priorities and production targets. - Ensure adherence to customers' Master Parameter requirements and maintain high standards of operational excellence. - Monitor and analyze daily output, cycle times, and product rejection rates to ensure efficient and smooth production operations. Leadership and Supervision - Provide strategic leadership to production leaders, ensuring effective training for operators using advanced methodologies and global best practices. - Oversee and optimize resource allocation to handle production bottlenecks, such as jammed parts, ensuring timely completion of work orders. - Drive continuous improvement by implementing corrective actions for rejected parts and supporting performance management of team members. Technical Expertise and Support - Supervise technical teams to ensure optimal machine performance and quick recovery of production stability following test runs. - Facilitate approval processes for first-piece quality checks and ensure detailed reporting during extended production halts. Machine and Equipment Management - Collaborate with the Maintenance Department to resolve complex machine issues, integrating advanced diagnostic tools and methods when necessary. Manpower Management - Assess manpower needs and communicate requirements to the Production Manager, ensuring the workforce meets the necessary skill sets. - Ensure operators adhere to advanced Work Instructions (WI) and maintain productivity standards aligned with global benchmarks. Tooling and Process Optimization - Lead tooling improvements by issuing Mould Repair Requisition forms and collaborating with the Tooling Department to implement advanced solutions. - Drive innovation in production processes by introducing new technologies or methods that enhance operational efficiency. 5S and Continuous Improvement - Champion the 5S workplace organization method within the production area, leveraging expertise in lean manufacturing principles to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Skills and Qualifications: - Extensive experience in production management, preferably in high-tech or advanced manufacturing environments. - Strong understanding of advanced production workflows, machine operations, and industrial automation. - Proven expertise in leading and managing diverse, multi-skilled teams in a global manufacturing setup. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex operational challenges promptly. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate across departments and with stakeholders. - Specific technical expertise in (e.g., injection molding, CNC machining, robotics, or IoT-based production systems) is highly desirable. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): - Achievement of enhanced production targets with optimized cycle times and significantly reduced rejection rates. - Successful integration of advanced technologies or methods into the production workflow. - Measurable improvements in manpower utilization, skill development, and training effectiveness. - Sustained adherence to 5S standards and execution of process innovations for continuous improvement.
