Position Summary Supervise the Commercial Department to support the developments and operations of the KBBC PSC fields to maximize Shareholders value which involves interface with KPOC shareholders (Petronas Carigali, Shell and Conoco Phillips) and Malaysia Petroleum Management (MPM) and Petronas Carigali (as operator of the onshore gas and condensate processing facilities) and other 3rd parties that may be identified (e.g other PSC operators, domestic market gas buyer). Principle Accountabilities 1. Ensure timely delivery of the key commercial agreements associated with the developments and operations of the KBBC PSC fields, ensuring appropriate planning and prioritisation. 2. Develop negotiation strategy, lead & resolve negotiations with external stakeholders with respect to KBB commercial issues. 3. Negotiation of and maintenance of the following agreements: • Gas sales agreements to MLNG and to PETRONAS as the Sabah domestic market gas buyer. • Transportation agreements to transport gas to buyers. • Pipeline crossing agreements. • Agreement with PCSB for handling, processing and management of plant liquids. • Facilities sharing agreements. • Malikai tie-in and processing agreements. • Relevant operational and maintenance agreements. 4. Support Economics, Production Operations and Finance. 5. PSC, JOA, JV interpretation and application. 6. Understanding of MLNG business and operations. 7. Commercial interaction with Petronas, PCSB, Shell and the JV shareholders (Carigali, Shell and ConocoPhillips). 8. Third Party interactions. 9. Contribute to either ensuring/increasing the commercial viability for the existing business or securing business growth with respect to new opportunities. 10. Responsible for supervision and training of commercial staff. Requirements 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Commercial discipline or any other related discipline. 2. Minimum of 15 years experience in Upstream Commercial in the Oil & Gas industry. 3. Knowledge in Exploration and Production upstream business. 4. Strong demonstrated influencing and negotiating skills. 5. Results focused and strong team player, willing to share expertise & to contribute effectively to collective team goals. 6. Good interpersonal skills in order to network effectively across internal business interfaces and with staff of different disciplines and seniority levels. 7. Ability to work in and across a multi-cultural environment in economic and social transition with many complexities and uncertainties, and with political and governmental and other non-commercial counter parties. 8. Ability to interact with others across the business, political and social spectrum and at all levels. 9. Strong analytical skills and strategic thinker. 10. Able to self-motivate and manage workload based on business impact/priorities. 11. Ability to identify and position for value creation. 12. Excellent written and verbal communication. 13.
