1) Assist the Managers in organizing and distributing testing work to the General Technicians. 2) Conduct training for new recruits on the Laboratory’s Management System in the absence of QA/Technical Engineer. 3) Provide adequate training and supervision to junior technician and ensure the technician equipped with testing knowledge. 4) Report to Lab Manager if any equipment breakdown found. Follow-up equipment breakdown with suppliers. 5) Attend customer meeting and site visit when required. 6) Conduct testing and record data into test report while performing testing when required. 7) Report any deviation of test method or procedure when performing test. 8) Prepare reports when required. 9) Collect test/ calibration items from customer whenever required. 10) Coordinates and communicates with customer in regards to the status of their test samples and test results. 11) Coordinates outsourced testing includes request for quotations, sample submission, witnessing, test reports for mechanical testing when required. 12) Assist QA Assistant in perform equipments intermediate check when required. 13) In-charge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) inclusive maintenance of fire extinguishers, first aid kit, safety sign and update of Evacuation Floor Plan as in Environment, Health and Safety Policy. 14) Review and updates of Test Standards (International and Local) that the laboratory test methods and procedures are based on. 15) Perform method development, periodic review and verification of method inclusive evaluation of measurement uncertainty. 16) Prepare and update of ISO documents, work procedure and test forms when required by the Manager. 17) Participate in the internal audit as per ISO/IEC 17025, SAMM Policies and Quality Management System. 18) Ensure the cleanliness of laboratory premise at all time especially own work station. 19) Ensure laboratory management, technical and quality procedures are followed at all time. 20) Carry out any alteration/ correction in records in accordance with the quality management procedure. 21) Attend meetings and trainings (both internal and external) when directed by superior, including preparing monthly management reports and meeting minutes.
