We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant in Purchasing & Property Management. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the procurement process within the organization. The responsibilities will include coordinating and executing procurement activities, maintaining vendor relationships, managing inventory levels, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services plus handling property maintenance. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Liaise with suppliers on purchasing items • Generate and manage purchase orders accurately and efficiently • Sourcing new suppliers and conducting market research • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels • Ensuring all the equipment and utensils are in good condition and well kept • Ensure safety measures are instituted and adhered to, in the college premises and its properties • Perform loading and unloading of materials safely and effectively while adhering to all safety procedures REQUIREMENTS: • Possess at least SKM in Culinary Arts • Excellent mathematical skills • Computer literate i.e Microsoft 365 (Words, Excel, Powerpoint) • Possess own transportation and a driving license; being able to drive a van is a plus (D & B2)
