ASSISTANT PRODUCTION MANAGER

 Production Planning and Coordination  Assist in planning and scheduling daily production activities to meet customer demands and deadlines.  Collaborate with the production manager and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and resource allocation. · Supervision and Team Management  Supervise and guide production teams to maintain efficiency, productivity, and safety standards.  Provide training and mentor ship to team members to enhance their technical skills. · Quality Assurance  Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.  Address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. · Process Optimization  Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency.  Assist in evaluating and maintaining manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime. · Safety and Compliance  Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.  Conduct regular inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks in the workplace. · Inventory and Material Management  Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the availability of raw materials and supplies.  Monitor inventory levels and minimize waste through efficient resource utilization. · Reporting and Documentation  Prepare and present reports on production metrics, including output, efficiency, and quality.  Maintain accurate records of production activities and equipment maintenance.
