Key Responsibilities: • Fabrication: Design and fabricate dental prosthetics such as complete and partial dentures, crowns, bridges, and orthodontic appliances using various materials (e.g., acrylic, metal, ceramic). • Repair and Maintenance: Assess and repair damaged dental devices, ensuring they restore functionality and appearance. • Customization: Customize prosthetics based on dental impressions and specifications provided by dentists to ensure proper fit and aesthetics. • Material Selection: Choose appropriate materials for each dental device based on patient needs, durability, and aesthetic considerations. • Quality Control: Ensure all completed prosthetics meet quality standards and comply with health regulations. • Collaboration: Work closely with dentists, orthodontists, and other dental professionals to understand patient requirements and adapt designs accordingly. • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of patient specifications, materials used, and work performed for future reference and compliance. • Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring a clean and safe work environment. • Continuous Education: Stay updated with the latest dental technologies, materials, and techniques through workshops, seminars, and professional courses.
