It Engineer

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Responsible for interactively working with business units/ work with users to design, create, develop, modify, and debug BAQ's (Business Activity Queries), dashboards, BPM's (Business Process Management), scheduled processes and reports, enhancements and customizations to Epicor and provide day-to-day support to users. Accountable for the implementation of system modifications and expansions. • Provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. • Create documentation including instruction/ user manuals and other reference materials as required. • Manage troubleshooting and identify solutions that support business process. • Manage user/menu security and company/site/system maintenance/configuration settings in Epicor. • Accountable for security at the system level and at the user level. • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested JOB REQUIREMENTS: • At least 3 years of experience with an ERP system (Epicor) and MS SQL. Preferred Epicor Experience. • Experience in application implementation including design, build, test, and deployment. • Experience with Crystal Reports, including administration, report design and in a Microsoft Windows • environment. • Familiar with and able to use the Data Migration Tool (DMT). • Good written and verbal communication skills / ability to discuss technical objectives to non-technical user community. • Team player with good interpersonal/customer service skills and a positive attitude. • Self-starter, ability to work with minimal direct supervision. • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail. • Good understanding of processes and their dependencies within an ERP application.
