- Oversee daily production activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor and guide production staff to meet production schedules and output targets.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturing processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety protocols.
Quality Control:
- Conduct regular quality checks during and after production to ensure product standards are met.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective actions when needed.
Inventory and Resource Management:
- Monitor raw materials and inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of raw materials.
- Maintain proper documentation for inventory, production, and quality records.
Staff Management:
- Train and mentor production team members to improve their skills and productivity.
- Assign tasks and roles to team members based on their expertise and production requirements.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to improve efficiency.
Process Optimization:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Troubleshoot production issues and propose solutions promptly.
Health and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular safety drills and training for production staff.
- Address and report any safety concerns or incidents immediately.
Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare and submit regular reports on production performance, quality metrics, and operational challenges to management.
- Act as a liaison between management and production staff.
Key Requirements:
Education:
- Diploma/Degree.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of quality control systems and production planning.
- Familiarity with chemical safety and handling procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
Language:
- Proficiency in Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia (to communicate with the team and management effectively).
