Production Supervisor (Mandarin Speaker)

Production Supervision:

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor and guide production staff to meet production schedules and output targets.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturing processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety protocols.

Quality Control:

• Conduct regular quality checks during and after production to ensure product standards are met.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective actions when needed.

Inventory and Resource Management:

• Monitor raw materials and inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of raw materials.
• Maintain proper documentation for inventory, production, and quality records.

Staff Management:

• Train and mentor production team members to improve their skills and productivity.
• Assign tasks and roles to team members based on their expertise and production requirements.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to improve efficiency.

Process Optimization:

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
• Troubleshoot production issues and propose solutions promptly.

Health and Safety Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular safety drills and training for production staff.
• Address and report any safety concerns or incidents immediately.

Reporting and Communication:

• Prepare and submit regular reports on production performance, quality metrics, and operational challenges to management.
• Act as a liaison between management and production staff.

Key Requirements:

Education:

• Diploma/Degree.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of quality control systems and production planning.
• Familiarity with chemical safety and handling procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.

Language:

• Proficiency in Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia (to communicate with the team and management effectively).
