Engineering Assistant

Job Responsibilities: • Create and enter components master detail including but not limited to description, unit of measure, weights and dimensions, items attributes that drive MRP (Material Resource Planning). • Itemize Bill of material creation and maintenance for all items, new and changing components, route creation and maintenance. • Assist as needed with cross functional teams in matters pertaining ERP item master detail. • Collaborate with internal data owners to resolve issues with missing product attributes. • Prepare the master data load files and/ or manually input the changes directly into ERP. • Control changes to master data to support the modification to existing products and phase out of products from forecasting, purchasing, production, sales, and Storage function. • Ad-hoc assignments related to item data integrity. Qualifications, Experience and Skills: • Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/Technical Certificate or equivalent. • Knowledge in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word. • Knowledge in updating ERP system. • Communication capability with all levels. • Interpersonal skills. • Good oral and written communication skills. • Communication capability with all levels.
