Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Liaison Officer to manage and ensure design & construction approvals, permits, special permission etc. from various authorities, ensuring that all project approvals are obtained in a timely and efficient manner and ensuring coordination, submission and inspection with respective authorities obtained towards the issuance of CCC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, built strong relationship and maintain continuous engagement with government agencies, local authorities & key stakeholders to facilitate the approval process
  • Ensure that all approval processes comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Coordination between Consultants, D&T, PMD and Authorities
  • Coordinate approvals process and submission & CCC application
  • Obtain necessary construction permits application from authorities
  • Liaison with Land Office / Land Owner
  • Write reports/letters and other correspondence to facilitate communication between authorities, stakeholders etc.
  • Establish a strategic Stakeholder Engagement Plan - to keep the stakeholder informed and provide a channel for communication and redress
  • Keep the strategic messaging to the stakeholders aligned to project goals and objectives
  • Dissemination of info thru press, media release & etc
  • Face to face engagements with communities/nearby residence
  • Manage authorites & public complaints
  • Involved in community events and activities to foster rapport
  • To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and approval processes.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Good communication skills, both written and spoken in Bahasa Malaysia & English, are essential.
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Previous work experience in similar capacity will be an advantage
  • Able to work under stress & withstand pressure from external stakeholders
  • Able to support team members internally, other colleagues & counterparts eternally

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM3,200.00 per month
