Position Overview:
The Workshop Foreman Expert is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of workshop personnel to ensure efficient operations, timely completion of projects, and adherence to quality and safety standards. This role involves providing technical expertise, managing resources, and maintaining smooth workflow in the workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Workshop Supervision:
• Oversee daily operations in the workshop, ensuring tasks are executed efficiently.
• Plan and delegate work schedules to technicians and workers.
• Monitor progress and ensure deadlines are met.
• Technical Expertise:
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and expertise to resolve complex issues.
• Inspect work to ensure compliance with quality and technical standards.
• Stay updated on the latest technologies and techniques relevant to the workshop’s focus.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead and mentor workshop staff, fostering skill development and teamwork.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Facilitate training programs to enhance team capabilities.
• Quality Control:
• Ensure all work adheres to company quality standards and client expectations.
• Perform final inspections on completed tasks or projects.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Enforce workshop safety protocols and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety checks and ensure all tools and equipment are in proper working condition.
• Address and document any incidents or hazards.
• Resource Management:
• Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Coordinate procurement and maintenance of workshop resources.
• Minimize downtime by ensuring equipment is serviced and operational.
• Reporting and Documentation:
• Maintain detailed records of work orders, maintenance logs, and inventory.
• Prepare reports on workshop performance, challenges, and improvements.
• Communicate updates and concerns to management.
• Customer Interaction (if applicable):
• Address customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism.
• Ensure client requirements are understood and fulfilled.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a workshop foreman or senior technician in [specific field, e.g., automotive, metal fabrication, etc.].
• In-depth knowledge of workshop tools, equipment, and processes.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and specifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
