PW4 Technician

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for all electrical systems, including wiring, control panels, lighting, and power distribution systems.
• Troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults promptly to minimize downtime.
• Conduct periodic inspections of electrical installations to ensure they meet operational and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including energy efficiency and safety.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections and repairs.
• Support the facilities management team during audits and inspections by providing documentation and technical insights.
• Collaborate with other departments or vendors for electrical installations, upgrades, and repairs.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and resolve issues efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s safety policies and procedures while performing electrical works.
• Provide technical support and training to junior technicians as required.

Job Requirements

• Possess a valid PW4 Electrical Certification from Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
• At least 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in the facilities management industry.
• Familiarity with electrical systems in commercial, industrial, or residential buildings.
• Skilled in using tools, equipment and software for electrical systems.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency practices and sustainable electrical solutions is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of local electrical regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and reporting skills.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
