Key Responsibilities:

As a Supply Chain Management Intern, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Inventory Management Support:
  • Assist in tracking and updating inventory records and stock levels.
  • Support the team in conducting inventory audits and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Logistics Coordination:
  • Help coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring the smooth processing of orders.
  • Work with logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any transportation issues.
  • Data Entry and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate data entry for inventory, orders, and shipments.
  • Assist in preparing supply chain reports and documentation to analyze trends, stock levels, and product movement.
  • Order Fulfillment Assistance:
  • Support the team with order processing, ensuring that products are picked, packed, and dispatched according to customer requirements.
  • Help manage order documentation and tracking to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Supplier and Vendor Communication:
  • Assist in maintaining effective communication with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Support in negotiating with suppliers for timely deliveries and competitive pricing.
  • Process Improvement Support:
  • Contribute to identifying areas of improvement in supply chain processes and offer suggestions for optimization.
  • Assist in implementing process improvements aimed at enhancing efficiency.
  • Administrative Assistance:
  • Perform general administrative duties, including filing, organizing documentation, and managing supply chain-related records.
  • Coordinate with different teams to ensure smooth workflow across departments.

Qualifications and Requirements:

To be eligible for this internship, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Education:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Skills and Experience:
  • Familiarity with supply chain operations and logistics processes is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software applications.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
