Key Responsibilities:
As a Supply Chain Management Intern, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Inventory Management Support:
- Assist in tracking and updating inventory records and stock levels.
- Support the team in conducting inventory audits and reconciling discrepancies.
- Logistics Coordination:
- Help coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring the smooth processing of orders.
- Work with logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any transportation issues.
- Data Entry and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate data entry for inventory, orders, and shipments.
- Assist in preparing supply chain reports and documentation to analyze trends, stock levels, and product movement.
- Order Fulfillment Assistance:
- Support the team with order processing, ensuring that products are picked, packed, and dispatched according to customer requirements.
- Help manage order documentation and tracking to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
- Supplier and Vendor Communication:
- Assist in maintaining effective communication with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Support in negotiating with suppliers for timely deliveries and competitive pricing.
- Process Improvement Support:
- Contribute to identifying areas of improvement in supply chain processes and offer suggestions for optimization.
- Assist in implementing process improvements aimed at enhancing efficiency.
- Administrative Assistance:
- Perform general administrative duties, including filing, organizing documentation, and managing supply chain-related records.
- Coordinate with different teams to ensure smooth workflow across departments.
Qualifications and Requirements:
To be eligible for this internship, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Education:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Skills and Experience:
- Familiarity with supply chain operations and logistics processes is a plus, but not required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software applications.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
