Draftsman

Job Scope:

• Drafting and Design: Create detailed technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software based on sketches, specifications, and calculations provided by engineers.
• Review and Modify Designs: Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company standards and project requirements. Make necessary modifications as directed.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and other team members to understand project requirements and ensure drawings meet technical specifications.
• Documentation: Maintain and update drawing files, project documentation, and records. Ensure all drawings and documents are properly archived and easily retrievable.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure drawings comply with relevant codes, regulations, and quality standards. Perform quality checks on drawings before submission.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to clarify requirements, address issues, and provide updates on drawing progress.
• Support: Provide technical support during construction and manufacturing processes. Address queries and provide clarification on drawing details as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Produce accurate and detailed technical drawings according to project specifications.
• Ensure drawings are completed within designated timelines and meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and incorporate technical details into drawings.
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback and engineering changes.
• Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and project documents.
• Follow company policies and procedures related to drafting and design practices.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in CAD software and drafting techniques.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and familiarity with drafting standards.
• Familiar with 2D designing software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) and 3D modeling software (Sketchup,Rhinoceros)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

Pay: From RM3,300.00 per month
