Job Summary:
Resource Management Executive is responsible for managing the contract manpower for Managed Services Business Unit (MSBU). The incumbent will be involved in the resource management of all manpower from the vendors to ensure compliance of processes, and to achieve the business objectives of timeliness, accuracy and cost effectiveness.
Job Responsibility:
Resource Management
- Plan and manage resource allocation to ensure projects are staffed effectively and meet company goals.
- Work with project managers to understand resource needs, address challenges, and plan for future staffing.
- Keep an updated record of staff skills, qualifications, and availability to make informed staffing decisions.
- Assign team members to projects based on their skills and availability to ensure a good fit for both the project and the individual.
- Monitor how resources are used across projects, fixing inefficiencies and improving processes.
- Coordinate with recruitment agencies and vendors to hire the right people on time.
- Help staff and managers resolve performance issues, deployment conflicts, and smooth role transitions.
- Collaborate with managers to create training plans that help staff improve skills and prepare for future roles.
- Prepare reports on staffing and resource use (recruitment statistics) to help management make decisions.
- Stay updated on trends in resource management and staff development to improve practices.
Administration
- Support daily HR operations and collaborate with the Business Unit’s Resource Team on resource management tasks.
- Ensure HR policies and processes comply with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee onboarding, orientation, and integration of new joiners into deployment plans.
- Manage offboarding processes, including exit interviews, clearances, and termination procedures.
- Handle disciplinary actions, grievance resolution, and performance-related issues.
- Verify and process invoices for contract manpower.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirement:
- Diploma in Business Administration, Business Studies or equivalent.
- Proficient in Singapore Employment Act and Malaysia Labour Law
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Prior experience in learning and development is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be detailed, accurate and meticulous.
- Self-motivated. proactive and independent.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
