Job Description
- Active involvement in the overall credit control function by ensuring timely collection of receivables in accordance with credit terms.
- Continuously monitor and review current credit control policies and procedures including system processes and where necessary make recommendations for improvement.
- Manage the arrears by closely following up with tenants on overdue account or to speed up payments, as well as sending out reminders.
- Initiate proceedings to ensure outstanding debts are brought to a satisfactory conclusion which may include litigation action.
- Attend to tenant’s enquires and take appropriate action to resolve issues.
- Maintaining an up-to-date aging report and reconciliation report for receivables balances.
- Assist the superior in liaising and following up closely with appointed solicitors on litigation cases.
- Liaise and follow up closely with appointed solicitors on litigation cases such as issuance of NOD, WOD, Summons, Auction, etc.
Responsibilities
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
- At least 2-3 year(s) of relevant working experience in account receivables preferably in real estate or service industry.
- Preferably candidates with SAP accounting experience.
- Ability to work with tight deadline for monthly reports and related adhoc activities.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Independent & strong team member with ability to execute, monitor, control and co-ordinate.
