Operation Manager (Injection Moulding)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production activities, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and meet production goals.
• Monitor equipment, mold performance, and production processes to ensure minimal downtime.
• Implement lean manufacturing practices, waste reduction strategies, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) for plastic injection moulding.
• Collaborate with the Quality Control team to ensure adherence to product specifications and quality standards.
• Support implementation of ISO standards or other quality management systems as applicable.
• Optimize the use of manpower, machinery, and materials to maximize efficiency.
• Oversee raw material procurement, inventory management, and usage.
• Work with the Maintenance team to ensure proper upkeep and preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Prepare and present production and operational reports for management.
• Monitor budgets, control operational costs, and identify cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
• 5-8 years of experience in operations management, preferably in plastic injection moulding or a similar manufacturing environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM15,000.00 - RM17,000.00 per month
