Physiotherapist Intern

About The Role

Responsible in assessing, planning, and delivering treatments to patients under the guidance of our professional therapists.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, including strength, mobility, and function, to identify needs and set treatment goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals, utilizing a range of physiotherapy techniques and modalities.
• Provide hands-on therapy, including exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions, to alleviate pain, improve movement, and enhance functional capabilities.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and techniques for managing symptoms and improving function at home.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• ⁠⁠Engage in social media marketing activities, including content creation, video shooting, and promoting our services.
• ⁠⁠Assist professional therapists in daily center operations.

Job Requirements

• Recognised qualification in Sports Massage Therapy, Diploma/ Degree in Physiotherapy / Sports Science or related field.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Able to commit on weekends.
• Minimum 12 weeks duration for Internship
• Good knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, as well as a good understanding of sports-related injuries and rehabilitation techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Pay: RM500.00 - RM1,000.00 per month
