JOB OVERVIEWS

Shipping Executive is an integral part of logistic and international trade team. This role is responsible for providing support to Shipping Manager in the coordination and execution of freight forwarding and logistic operations. This role assists in various aspects of the shipping process to ensure the timely and cost-effective movement of goods.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assist in freight operation

· Support Shipping Manager in coordinating freight forwarding activities, loading and unloading of shipment including booking shipments, arranging transportation, and tracking deliveries

2. Documentation

· Prepare and maintain shipping documents, such as bills of lading, invoices, and certificate of origin, to ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements & submission to bank based on shipping manager instructions

· Keying all export/import shipment in master list summary for shipping manager

3. Customer interaction

· Communicate with clients to provide updates on shipments, address inquiries, and assist in maintaining high level of customer satisfaction

4. Compliance

· Prepare / update to shipping manager to ensuring all shipments comply with international trade regulations, import/ export laws, and customs procedures

· Prepare to manage documentations, license, and permit and report to shipping manager.

5. Vendor coordination

· Collaborate with shipping carriers, trucking companies, customs brokers, and other service provider to arrange for the transportation of goods based on receiving instruction from shipping manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor degree in supply chain management, logistics, international business or and related field (or equivalent experience)

2. Previous experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or international trade is advantageous.

3. Basic knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and transportation logistic.

4. Attention to details and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

5. Willingness to collaborate and work as part of team

6. Able to work 5.5 days

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
