Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Accountant to become an integral part of our finance team. As an Accountant at Nagamas Printing, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial records, conducting various financial analyses, and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting activities of the company.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and reports on a regular basis.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and provide insights for informed decision-making.
- Handle tax-related matters, including preparing GST tax returns and ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial audits and liaise with auditors to ensure smooth auditing processes.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and financial data.
- Support financial planning and forecasting efforts to facilitate strategic business planning.
- Keep abreast of accounting principles, laws, and regulations to ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar finance-related role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Knowledge of relevant accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
Supplemental Pay:
