Position

Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the Visual Merchandiser will ensure that the Visual Merchandising styles and standards are of high quality and reflect company and local directives. Day by Day, he/she plans, organizes and implements Visual Merchandising activities within Malaysia. He/She may set up acquisition of materials and works with field to guide rollout of visual program.

The Visual Merchandiser will report directly to VM Manager Southeast and Australia, and work closely with our retail, merchandising, logistics and Marketing team of FENDI.

Job responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide and support the stores in VM presentation
  • Collaborate and support the realization of general VM training, VM and windows product guidelines, VM display strategy, new openings and in-store/product events
  • Collaborate with merchandising team and the retail team to ensure that store changes are in line with our business needs
  • Report and provide regular feedback to VM Manager as well as other management after each rotation
  • Manage end to end monthly floorset launches and new window displays in all stores (often requiring night works)
  • Ensure that the local visual merchandising standards are in line with the global VM guidelines
  • Co-ordinate with suppliers and business partners to ensure that a perfect rollout of window installation or any new campaign images
  • Co-ordinate product rotation according to window guidelines
  • Manage the re-ordering of props and follow closely delivery of props
  • Supervise stores and Travel retail stores to ensure that Fendi’s VM standards are maintained
  • Support the new collections presentation in stores
  • Collaborate to the opening of new stores (if any)
  • Coach client advisors and VM ambassadors on VM displays

Profile

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2 - 3 years of related experience in visual merchandising
  • Related Diploma in Art or Visual Communication
  • Flair for creativity
  • Meticulous and detail oriented
  • Independent and self-disciplined
  • Outgoing, dependable, and pro- active team player
  • Good organizing and follow up skills
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills
  • Proficient in MS office especially MS excel
