Basic Function
- Responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of the kitchen operations.
Responsibility and Authority
2.1 Report to duty on time and in uniform.
2.2 Work under close supervision in preparing ingredients for cooking.
2.3 Measure and mix ingredients according to standard receipts, using a variety of kitchen utensils and equipment.
2.4 Set up mis-en-place daily. Cut and prepare foodstuffs and ingredients for cooking.
2.5 Listen to supervisor regarding new recipes, obtain cooked food or other items from freezer and heat pre-cooked food items as orders come in.
2.6 Portion off, trim and garnish food items on serving plates.
2.7 Adjust thermostat controls to regulate temperature of oven, broilers, grills and roasters.
Cook food following standard recipes and under the supervision of the Chef-de-Partie.
2.9 Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of equipments, coldrooms and work areas.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
