The job holder will be responsible for production planning and scheduling to ensure best possible production plan in order to meet production objective and consistent supply of materials to facilitate production goods. Among the key responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.
  • Monitor production workflows and adjust plans to address delays or resource shortages.
  • Responsible to plan ordering of packaging materials, raw materials
  • Perform data entry of relevant production records, including production and stock requisition data, to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Analyze production data and generate reports to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout planning processes.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to address production-related challenges.
  • Participate in process optimization initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Compile sales forecasts and promotional acitivities from BD, Marketing and Growth teams including historical data and market trends to develop an accurate demand forecast of raw materials and finished goods to ensure timely production of goods to ensure consistent supply of products in the market.
  • Collaborate with Warehouse & Logistics team to optimize inventory levels, ensuring product availability while minimizing excess waste and out-of-stocks.
  • Recommend and implement best practices for demand planning processes and tools to analyze data, generate reports, and identify demand patterns or anomalies.
  • Develop accurate demand forecasts and monitor inventory performance.
  • To set production schedule goals and resolve conflicting priorities through effective planning

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related fields
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in production planning or supply chain roles.
  • Strong understanding of production processes and inventory management
  • Required skill(s): MS Office
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,637.35 - RM3,500.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
