Our Sourcing Team provides support for projects and collaborate with local and regional teams to innovate. We manage the buying process and engage in commercial sourcing management to achieve great contractual conditions and results for our company. We select providers accordingly to the preferred providers defined by our global or regional category strategy.

This position will play a key role in the strategic execution of critical OIC Sourcing Projects. This includes ownership of specific material category. Supporting the Sourcing leadership as part of the PMO workstream. You'll drive excellence in negotiations, maximizing margin through material cost out for Eastern Hemisphere.
As a Sourcing Manager - Oilfield Industrial Chemical, you will be responsible for:
Leading major category negotiations and apply sourcing best practices demonstrating an understanding of broader concepts, approaches, and methods.
Collaborating across product lines and functions to execute company objectives.
Leading initiatives to drive on landing cost including but not limited to logistics, tolling network, and intercompany sourcing solutions.
Leading supply decisions in accordance with company procedures and policies at best cost. digital application for raw material cost out opportunities across procurement and Sourcing.
Steering visibility of system driven KPIs including sourcing intensity, OTD and Supplier Performance.
Working closely with Global Sourcing Leader on strategic system application of sourcing category strategy in relation to supplier negotiations, supplier selection, supplier approval, supplier onboarding, etc.

To be successful in this role you will:
Have bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain, Engineering or Science preferred) or equivalent.
Have 3 - 5 years of proven experience working in Supply Chain, Procurement, Sourcing, Project Management, or 8+ years of chemical experience.
Have good working IT knowledge and be familiar with variety of software tools including Excel, Power Point and any MRP, SAP, Ariba systems.
Have good oral and written communication skills.
Be flexible to work additional hours to support the team and be able to travel up to 30% of the time if needed.
Have good interpersonal, leadership, negotiating and problem-solving skills. This includes having the ability to influence others and lead small teams.
Have proven analytical and organizational ability with ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously with
Have excellent organizational and time management skills.
