Production Assistant Manager

RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY a) Responsible for overseeing and managing the manufacturing process in a company or organization. b) To ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently with minimal downtime or delays. c) Involves in managing personal, scheduling and coordinating resources (such as machinery and materials), monitoring output and ensuring quality control standards are met. d) Do analyzing data to identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement, maintaining safety standards in the workplace, developing and implementing training programs for employees and collaborating with other departments to ensure that production aligns with broader business goals. e) Motivating, supporting and providing guidance to production staff f) Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident-free g) Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production h) Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime i) Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing j) Setting productivity goals for each manufacturing team k) Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality l) Monthly improvement plan m) Define, monitor and coach continuous improvement project across production to improve productivity and quality while reducing lead times and cost. n) Ensure corrective action investigation and root cause analysis are performed. o) Set and execute the strategy for the manufacturing group to become a best-in-class and globally competitive manufacturing site by utilizing Lean manufacturing techniques of production performance. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE : a) bachelor’s degree in industrial/mechanical engineering or a related field. b) Prior experience with production as a assistant manager/Sr Executive. c) In-depth knowledge of production management, risk management, and safety regulations.
