Job description: - Oversee the daily IT operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of hardware, software, and networks across HQ and cafes. - Act as a point of escalation for IT-related issues and provide advanced technical support when required. - Coordinate and manage the resolution of critical IT incidents to minimize operational downtime. - Supervise the setup, maintenance, and optimization of IT infrastructure. - Ensure hardware and software are updated and functioning effectively. - Support database management, backups, and recovery plans. - Ensure systems are monitored for performance and reliability, ensuring optimal uptime for business-critical applications. - Supervise and mentor IT team members fostering professional growth. - Delegate tasks effectively and monitor the team's progress to ensure project deadlines are met. - Provide training and knowledge-sharing sessions for team members to enhance technical skills. - Assist the IT Manager in planning and executing large-scale projects. - Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are on time, within scope, and meet business requirements. - Oversee all IT projects execution, including cafe expansions, system upgrades, and technology rollouts. - Implement advance cybersecurity measures to protect company data and IT infrastructure. - Conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with IT policies, data protection regulations, and industry standards. - Oversee the development and testing of disaster recovery and business continuity plans. - Liaise with external vendors for procurement, maintenance, and support services. - Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective solutions. - Coordinate with department heads to understand IT needs and deliver appropriate solutions. - Oversee comprehensive documentation of IT processes, incident logs, and compliance reports. - Present findings and updates to top management. - Enforce adherence to IT policies and assist with internal and external audits. - Support the development of updated guidelines as needed. - Work with IT Manager to prepare and manage departmental budgets. - Monitor expenses and optimize resource allocation, ensure compliance with regulations, and mitigate IT-related risks. - Assist IT Manager in developing IT roadmaps, aligning technology initiatives with business objectives, and identifying areas for improvement or innovation. - Oversee the execution of strategic IT projects, facilitate cross-departmental collaboration, and communicate progress and impact to stakeholders effectively. - Undertake additional IT-related responsibilities to address organizational needs and support the IT Manager in strategic tasks. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in IT operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. - Proficient in system administration, network management, and troubleshooting complex IT issues. - Experience with POS systems and other F&B-specific technologies is highly preferred. - Strong knowledge of IT security protocols, backup systems, and disaster recovery planning. - Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. - Relevant IT certifications are an advantage. - Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. - Availability to travel and provide on-site support when required.
