2. Qualifications: a) Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certifications preferred. 3. Experience / Skill: a) Good Spoken and written in Bahasa Malaysia and English. b) Minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. c) Strong knowledge of treasury operations, financial markets, and financial risk management. d) Proven track record of managing cash flow, liquidity, and investment portfolios. e) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. f) Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. g) Proficiency in treasury management systems and financial software. h) Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications and multimedia. i) Honest, ethical, and dependable. 4. Key Responsibilities a) To coach, guide and monitor a finance team in the department. b) To be in charge of all related reconciliations and are performed on a timely basis. c) To oversee accounts receivables which include credit control functions. d) To ensure collections are promptly received as per terms agreed. e) To oversee accounts payable’s function. f) To oversee monthly closing done as per deadline given and numbers reported are accurate. g) Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements. h) To be in charge of GST/SST or any tax related and liaison with Custom if needed. i) To assist and oversee on annual statutory audit process. j) To assist and oversee in tax planning matters. k) To assist in the preparation of Bank Facility documentation. l) To assist and oversee the budget preparation and monitoring. m) To assist and oversee the inter-company charging and reconciliation. n) Ad hoc assignments. o) To be accountable on all financial and asset matters which include and not least on Monthly accounts closing, GST matters, accounts receivables which include credit control functions, accounts payables and liaison with external auditors, as well as internal customers p) Ensure compliance with legal, tax and government requirements and advising management on necessary actions. q) Investigate, reconcile and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities. r) Manage and maintain financial accounting systems, Reviews ledger and reports to identify and trace error and makes necessary corrections. s) Other ad-hoc duties as instructed by the superior.
