Month-End Closing Activities and Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and review journal entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and intercompany transactions.
- Ensure timely and accurate closing of monthly financial books.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
Management Reporting:
- Prepare monthly management reports, including financial performance analysis and variance explanations.
- Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts by providing accurate financial data.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyse financial information.
Operational Finance Duties:
- Oversee daily cash flow management, online payments to suppliers and vendors, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure timely invoicing, accounts receivable collections, and accounts payable processing.
- Monitor and report on key financial metrics and operational KPIs.
- Assist in tax compliance and statutory reporting requirements, and liaise with auditors, company secretary, bankers, and lawyers as needed.
Others:
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
- Support the implementation of new tools, systems, or processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; however, 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles is an advantage.
- Prior exposure to month-end closing and management reporting is an advantage but not a strict requirement.
- Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle NetSuite) is preferred, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel.

- Good command in English and/or Bahasa Malaysia.
