Job Responsibilities:
- Safety Management: Develop, implement, and monitor the company’s safety and health policies and programs.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, and other relevant safety laws and standards.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and hazard identifications to eliminate or mitigate workplace hazards.
- Auditing: Perform regular safety audits and inspections to ensure a safe working environment.
- Incident Management: Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near-misses, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Training and Awareness: Plan and deliver safety and health training for employees at all levels.
- Reporting: Maintain and submit safety reports, accident statistics, and other required documentation to regulatory authorities.
- Emergency Preparedness: Develop and test emergency response and evacuation plans.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Certified Safety and Health Officer (Green Book holder) by DOSH.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience (entry-level roles may accept fresh graduates).
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian OSH laws and regulations.
- Good leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM4,800.00 per month
