Maintenance Technician

1. Qualifications

a. Candidate must be at a minimum a diploma holder on mechanical or electrical engineering.

b. Preferably, candidate must have at least minimum of 1-2 years working experience in the food manufacturing or food service industry.

2. Job Tasks – Maintenance/Operations Related

a. Performs maintenance tasks by assisting Maintenance Engineer in ensuring that preventive maintenance of machines is conducted according to schedule and standards, as well as performing solo maintenance on simple tasks.

· Assists in performing maintenance on all big/multiple machines for shredding line, cooking line, filling machines and packing machines.

· Assigned to perform maintenance on small machines such as leak tester, metal detector, strapping machine, powder mixer and hot water shrink tank

· Assigned to perform maintenance on cleaning machines such as steam cleaning machine, foam machine and power washer.

a. Performs maintenance tasks by assisting Maintenance Engineer in ensuring that preventive maintenance of utilities is conducted according to schedule and standards, as well as performing solo maintenance on simple tasks.

· Assists in performing maintenance on blower and industrial dehumidifier

· Assigned to perform cleaning of blower filter and industrial dehumidifier filter

· Assigned to perform cleaning of portable dehumidifier and its filter

b. Assigned to operate packing machines in shredding line and cooking line

c. Performs simple maintenance on facilities-related issues such as repair of flooring, installation of floor markings etc.

d. Reports to Maintenance Engineer on all maintenance activities performed.

3. Job Tasks – Others

a. Participate in HACCP-related activities as member of the HACCP team / Food Safety team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
