In Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) , we serve 41 million customers globally, including 6.7 million who are international, from retail customers to ultra high net worth individuals and their families. We help our customers look after their day-to-day finances and manage, protect and grow their wealth. Retail Banking plays a crucial role in executing the Wealth and Personal Banking strategy, providing strategic advice, frameworks and guidance to markets, that ensure all customer journeys, products and services are sustainable, inclusive and built with customers at the heart. Retail Banking brings together a united retail business, made up of the following global teams: Segments, Retail Products, Shared Services Contact Centre, Distribution and Enablers spanning Customer Experience, Marketing, Data and Analytics, Business Architecture, Sustainability and Inclusion for Wealth and Personal Banking.
We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Wealth and Personal Banking team in the role of Assistant Manager, Investment Research and Financial Planning working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.
Principal Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, control and execution of the day-to-day investment research support to the product team, network and customers. This includes to work together with product team on product development, guide the network on market outlook/investment themes, identifying investment focus based on prevailing market outlook/investment themes to support sales staffs, and provide regular investment communications for internal and external uses to drive business activities.
Responsible for overall development and implementation of HSBC Wealth Insights to enhance customer experience and meet business needs. This includes partnering with internal and external stakeholders to plan for the digital solutions and commercialization strategies and on-boarding of new Wealth Insights to close existing gaps.
Work closely with Global Financial Planning team in planning, designing and developing the future stage of strategic wealth planning as per Group’s standard, and drawing roadmap of wealth platform and sales process enhancement.
Provide training and coaching in the wealth planning process to ensure the business operates in the most productive and compliant manner over the long term.
Has experience and understanding of investment market and products.
Strong numerate, creativity in problem solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communicator both written and orally and able to influence others whilst maintaining excellent interpersonal relationship.
Detailed oriented and able to take initiative, capable of prioritizing and handling multiple assignments
