- To provide leadership in Project Planning, Implementation, Monitoring Project Progress until completion.
- Accountable for project objectives, deliverables, timelines and quality are met.
- To oversee project budget and ensure project spending is within the approved budget.
- To devise cost-effective plans to enable effective project completion.
- Accountable to ensure permits and legal papers are secured ahead of project.
- To report project progress to Project Director and Project Management Office.
- To make strategic decisions and provide leadership/direction for project execution.
- Accountable to manage risks to avoid delays or reputational damage
- Responsible for communicating with the Project Team and the contractors (incl. subcontractors) and to extend supervision upon them for effective progression of the project.
- Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Possessed at least a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in construction project management.
- Able to communicate in Mandarin and English
- Proven track record of managing construction projects from start to finish (expected size of projects: >100 million).
- Experienced in manufacturing plant construction is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a high attention to detail.
