Description
The Clinical Quality Specialist is a role designed for an experienced clinical psychologist or counsellor to lead clinical governance initiatives through the development, implementation, and auditing of clinical SOPs. This role ensures that key workflows, such as triage, risk assessments, user matching, and escalations, are evidence-based, standardised, and continuously improved. The Specialist also contributes to service development and ensures company-wide adherence to clinical best practices and regulatory standards.
- SOP Development & Management
- Create, update, and standardise clinical SOPs for key workflows.
- Ensure SOPs are aligned with clinical best practices and regulatory standards.
- Maintain a central repository of SOPs, ensuring version control and accessibility.
- Adapt SOPs for diverse scenarios to support organisational growth.
- Staff Training
- Develop and deliver training on SOPs to clinical and non-clinical teams.
- Maintain accessible and up-to-date training materials.
- Auditing & Compliance
- Conduct regular audits to ensure SOP adherence, including clinical site reviews.
- Analyse audit results and provide actionable recommendations to address compliance gaps.
- Track SOP compliance metrics and prepare detailed reports for leadership.
- Monitor trends in adherence and use findings to inform updates to SOPs and workflows.
- Service Development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance existing services and create new ones.
- Support the development of programme-specific SOPs by aligning them with core clinical processes.
- Ensure service developments align with workflows and best practices.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in clinical governance, SOP management, or auditing.
- Deep understanding of clinical workflows (e.g., triage, risk assessments).
- Proficiency in tools like Notion and Jira for documentation and project management.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for training and cross-functional work.
