Check inventory levels, manage stock, and notify the team of shortages. Collaborate with the team to develop and test new recipes. Adhere to all food safety regulations and best practices. Assist in packaging and labeling baked goods as needed. Qualifications: Proven experience as a baker or in a similar role. Familiarity with baking equipment and techniques. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines. Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays, as required. Attention to detail and creativity in baking and decorating. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Physical stamina to work on your feet and lift heavy ingredients or equipment. Preferred Skills: Certification in baking or pastry arts is an advantage. Experience with specialty baking (e.g., gluten-free, vegan, or artisanal breads). Ability to develop and innovate recipes.
