This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in digital health, project management, and a deep understanding of the use of technology in public health interventions, particularly related to key populations affected by HIV. SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES • Bachelor's degree in public health, information technology, computer science, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital health project management or a related field. • Demonstrated experience in implementing health information management systems, HIV self-testing programs, and community-led monitoring initiatives. • Strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities related to digital health interventions for key populations affected by HIV. • Proficiency in project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring of digital initiatives. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES Project Implementation for Digital Initiatives • Lead the planning, implementation, and oversight of digital health initiatives within the DHSKP program, with a focus on the Health Information Management System, HIV Self Testing, Community Led Monitoring, and other relevant digital interventions. • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and prioritize digital health needs and opportunities for key populations. • Develop and manage project plans, ensuring alignment with program objectives, timelines, and budget constraints. • Coordinate with IT professionals, software developers, and relevant vendors to ensure the successful deployment of digital solutions. Health Information Management System (HIMS) • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the Health Information Management System, ensuring data accuracy, privacy, and security. • Work closely with the program team to ensure the effective use of the HIMS for client management, monitoring, and reporting. • Provide guidance and training to program staff and partners on the use of the HIMS to support program delivery and decision-making. HIV Self Testing • Drive the implementation of HIV self-testing initiatives, including awareness campaigns, distribution strategies, and linkage to care protocols. • Collaborate with community organizations, health facilities, and key influencers to promote the adoption of HIV self-testing among key populations. • Monitor and evaluate the impact of HIV self-testing interventions and make recommendations For improvements. Community Led Monitoring • Facilitate the development and implementation of community-led monitoring systems, empowering key populations to actively participate in the monitoring and evaluation of program activities. • Support the design and rollout of digital tools and platforms that enable community members to report on program outcomes, challenges, and successes. • Analyze community-generated data and contribute insights to program evaluations and decision-making. Other Relevant Digital Interventions: • Identify, assess, and implement additional digital interventions that can enhance the delivery of differentiated HIV services for key populations. • Stay informed about emerging digital health technologies and best practices, and make recommendations for their integration into the DHSKP program. Undertake other responsibilities not outlined above which are commensurate with a role of Officer, Program Digital and which have been discussed and agreed between the Manager, Grant Management and the post holder to further aims of MAC.
