Speech Therapist (Locum)

1. Assessing, screening new patient 2. Observing and evaluating patients to determine the nature and extent of their disorder 3. Communicating with patient and liaising with their family members for effective treatment plan 4. Using, tried and tested therapies in combination with new, innovative techniques to provide best care 5. Administering therapy for rehabilitation of patients with communication problems caused by disabilities or hearing loss. 6. Keeping up-to-date with advancements in the field by attending conferences, conducting research and expanding professional and academic networks 7. Planning and conducting programs to correct speech disorders 8. Educating patients and their families on speech disorders and available therapies 9. Taking detailed notes on patient history and progress 10. Providing mentoring and workshops to parents and customers 11. Evaluating patient progress and implementing changes to therapy programs as required 12. Organize and conduct speech therapy programs in home settings 13. Undertake any other duties as directed by the HoD, from time to time.
