Director Business Dev & Operation for gas Engine

Essential Duties and Responsibilities : 1. To formulate strategies to expand the Gas Engine business, explore new market and increase market share 2. To lead and guide the Gas Engine team in negotiation deals with customers and partners 3. To ensure all tasks implemented are in line with business objectives in achieving goals set 4. To optimize the business development and its operation by abiding to the quality standard set by KHI which covers business territories including local business laws and regulations 5. To tracks market trends and emerging opportunities 6. To work closely with KGA to determine business needs and capitalizing on engagement with stakeholders in KHI 7. To manage manpower, budget to optimize resource use and reduce cost 8. To act as Gas Engine key customer account liaison alongside with sales and marketing team in ensuring customer’s needs are fulfilled 9. To cultivate and maintain work relationship with suppliers and customers 10. To ensure day-to-day operations of the Gas Engine team runs smoothly and effectively, manage workloads and delegate work 11. To ensure Gas Engine team adherence to workplace safety guidelines 12. To present strategies, business operation, financial performance and result of the Gas Engine business and operation to the board and stakeholders in KHI 13. To build and enhance KGA’s public profile for Gas Engine at events, speaking engagements etc 14. To train and giving advice to local Application Engineers regarding quality and engineering aspects of Gas Engine turbine 15. To transfer technology knowledge of Gas Engine turbine and KHI's positive work culture to the local team 16. To perform other related duties and tasks as when required to suit the needs of KGA when arise
