About the role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chargeman to join our team at EVE Energy Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. As a Chargeman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient and safe operation of our electrical systems and equipment. Job Description: • Supervise and coordinate the work of electrical technicians and operators to ensure the smooth and safe operation of electrical systems and equipment • Perform regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to identify and address any issues or malfunctions • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems, and implement appropriate corrective actions to restore normal operations • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate and schedule maintenance activities and implement process improvements • Provide technical guidance and training to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs Requirement: • Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Advanced or Higher or Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Electrical or Electronic or Mechanical) or equivalent. • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chargeman or in a similar role within the electrical/electronic engineering industry • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of electrical systems, including power generation, distribution, and control systems • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex electrical issues • Demonstrated commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management • Candidate must possess valid Chargeman Certificate from Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
