Position: General Manager Location: Klang Valley, Malaysia Salary: RM 10,000 – RM 20,000 per month (commensurate with experience) Role Overview As the General Manager, you will take a pivotal leadership role in steering the company's operations, brand growth, and overall business trajectory. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will oversee key functions, including operations, marketing, sales, and financial management, while driving innovative strategies to strengthen our presence in traditional and digital markets. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Leadership & Planning • Develop and execute strategic goals in collaboration with the CEO. • Lead short- and long-term business planning with a focus on market expansion, profitability, and growth. • Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for business development and innovation. 2. Operations & Financial Oversight • Oversee daily operations across marketing, sales, supply chain, finance, and product development. • Streamline processes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs. • Manage P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, while ensuring cost control and revenue growth. 3. Sales, Business Development, & Marketing • Develop and implement sales strategies across traditional and digital channels. • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and retailers. • Oversee marketing efforts, ensuring compelling campaigns and alignment with consumer needs. 4. Team Leadership & Development • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team. • Drive a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability. • Oversee recruitment, training, and development of employees to build a robust and capable workforce. 5. Supply Chain & Compliance • Ensure seamless supply chain operations, minimizing stockouts and optimizing inventory. • Manage compliance with industry regulations, including sustainability and corporate social responsibility standards. ________________________________________ Requirements Qualifications & Experience • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. • Experience: 8–10 years in FMCG, with at least 3–5 years in a senior management role; startup experience is a plus. • Industry Knowledge: Strong grasp of FMCG market dynamics, digital and traditional retail channels, and consumer trends.
