Key Responsibilities : • Directly supervises Engineers and drafters and report to Lead Engineer/Engineering Manager. • Preparation of RFQ, Material Requisition, Technical Clarification and TBE. • Review/Check Vendor Data and incorporate in engineering deliverables. • Support other disciplines in evaluating equipment packages and carry out Inter-discipline document review • Preparation of Instrument Index, I/O List, Datasheets, Termination Diagrams and Loop Diagram. • Preparation of Hook-up Diagram, Typical Installation drawings and MTO/BQ. • Preparation of Instrument Location Layout, Main Cable Routing, Cable Block Diagrams and Wiring Diagrams. • Preparation of Fire & Gas layout drawings, Routing Diagrams, Block Diagrams and Wiring Diagrams. • Check/review/comment drawings and documents prepared by subordinates and to guide and advise them accordingly. • Review ITB/Scope of Work documents from prospective Clients and prepare manhour estimates and support Proposals team as required. • Perform project engineering duties and support Project team as required. Requirements : • Recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent from college/ university. • Registered with Board of Engineers, Malaysia • At least 8 – 10 years of experience or more of work experiences in onshore/offshore engineering in oil & gas industry. • Conversant with international design codes and standards. • Ability to carry out site visits and to incorporate design details accordingly in engineering deliverables. • Familiar with MS Office software including MS Word/Excel. • Committed and disciplined to complete assigned work to required standards and meet project schedules. • Strong initiative & highly motivated in performing tasks given. • Able to work independently and guide juniors in their professional development. • Able to work effectively in a multi-discipline engineering environment, showing good leadership and a “team player”.
