Duties and Responsibilities
1. Project Coordination
- Assist in planning and coordination solar rooftop project from inception to completion.
- Liaise with stakeholders such as client, contractor, suppliers and internal department.
- Ensure that all projects documentation is up to date and accessible.
2. Scheduling and Resource Management
- Help develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all activities are completed on time.
- Coordinate resources, including personnel, equipment and materials, to meet project needs.
- Monitor project timelines and adjust schedules as necessary to avoid delays.
3. Site Supervision
- Assist with on-site inspections and oversee the progress of installations.
- Ensure that all activities adhere to safety standards, local regulations and quality requirements.
- Report on any issues or delays, and collaborate with the team to resolve them efficiently
4. Budget & Cost Control
- Support in tracking project budgets and ensuring that expenditures stay within the allocated limits.
- Monitor and report on project costs, identifying any potential cost overruns.
5. Client Relations & Communication
- Act as point of contact between the client and project team, keeping clients informed of project progress.
- Ensure client requirements and expectations are met, addressing concerns or changes in project scope.
- Assist with post-installation support, including follow up on performance and warranty issues.
6. Technical Assistance & Design Support
- Provide technical assistance to the project team in terms of solar panel installation, wiring, and other electrical aspects.
- Coordinate with Design Engineer and Project Supervisor to review design specifications, ensuring they are feasible for implementation.
- Ensure compliance with all local and national regulations for solar installations.
7. Regulatory & Compliance Management
- Assist with obtaining necessary permits and approvals from local authorities.
- Ensure all projects comply with Malaysian regulations on energy, safety and environmental impact.
- Stay updated on changes to regulations and industry standards.
8. Quality Control & Safety
- Monitor control throughout the project to ensure that all installations meet company and industry standards.
- Help enforce safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
- Conduct site audits and inspections to identify potential safety hazards or quality issues.
9. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Document all stages of project, including milestones, delay, change orders and client feedbacks.
- Assist in preparing final project handover documentation.
Job Requirement
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Civil or related field), Renewable Energy or equivalent experience & knowledge in Photovoltaic.
- Preferably 2 years of working experience in the renewable energy, project engineering or construction at the same capacity.
- Knowledge of solar technology, roofing systems, and local building codes.
- Required Skills: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD
- Independent, resourceful and able to work under minimum supervision
- Able to work under tight timeline, ability to multitask, good negotiator and have good writing skills.
- Familiar with the Electrical Measurement Tools
- Possess own transport with valid driving license and able to travel to project locations.
- Multiple work location including outstation.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
