Job Description:

  • Responsible in maintaining a consistent high level of customer service. This include talking to customers to monitor their experience. Floor presence is mandatory during peak hours.
  • Greet and handle all guests interactions with a high level of professionalism and hospitality.
  • Resolve guest issues.
  • Strive to achieve sales target.
  • Monitor and modify pricing and procedure as required. This include updating the menus at any point of sale systems to reflect any changes.
  • Ensure all staff compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations. This includes food handling as well as health and safety legislation.
  • Ensure that the facility consistently meets cleanliness, maintenance and safety standards.
  • Responsible to lead, develop and coach all team members to ensure a high level of customer service.
  • Delegate tasks appropriately to team members and assist the team as required.
  • Ensure that food and beverages items are being served in compliance with operating procedures.
  • Ensure all service stations are clean, organized and well stocked at all times. All lighting, music and ambience is appropriate for the meal provided.
  • Monitor staff performance and assist in conducting performance reviews.
  • Monitor inventory to ensure that the appropriate orders are placed at all times.
  • Conduct monthly inventories for the F&B Department.
  • Be a team player and practice collaboration within F&B and foster this relationship with other departments.
  • Anticipate and react to any changes in business levels.
  • Assisting Banquets as required.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Management.

Skills and requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in hospitality and food beverages services management will be an added advantage.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the F&B service industry.
  • Ability to work under pressure while complying with all relevant legislation.
  • Strong beverage knowledge required, including wines.
  • Excellent leadership, communication service, conflict resolutions and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in monitoring and controlling inventories.

Pay: From RM3,000.00 per month
