The Regional Manager – Food & Beverage is responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of multiple food and beverage outlets within a designated region. This role involves leading a team of managers and staff, ensuring high standards of service, quality, and profitability, and driving business growth across all locations. The Regional Manager will also focus on strategic planning, operational efficiency, and maintaining brand consistency across all properties under their jurisdiction.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Food & Beverage Managers, supervisors, and staff across multiple locations.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative working environment focused on excellent customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to managers to ensure consistent delivery of performance standards.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement necessary training programs to enhance staff skills.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee daily operations of F&B outlets within the region, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service, products, and guest experience.
  • Monitor and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency across all locations.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, sanitation, and health regulations (including food handling and alcohol policies).
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure all outlets are well-maintained and operating smoothly.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage regional budgets and financial goals for F&B operations.
  • Analyze financial performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Work with regional finance teams to ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and cost control (food costs, labor costs, etc.).
  • Drive profitability by identifying cost-saving opportunities, improving efficiency, and maximizing revenue.

Business Development & Strategy:

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement regional business strategies to increase sales and market share.
  • Identify opportunities for new outlets or menu offerings that align with local market trends and customer preferences.
  • Develop marketing plans and promotional activities to boost awareness and sales within the region.
  • Drive customer loyalty programs and ensure guest feedback is utilized for continuous improvement.

Customer Service & Satisfaction:

  • Ensure all outlets provide an exceptional dining experience and exceed customer expectations.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction levels and implement actions to improve service quality.
  • Respond to guest concerns, complaints, and suggestions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct regular customer surveys and use the results to enhance service offerings.

Compliance & Standards:

  • Ensure that all locations comply with legal, regulatory, and health and safety standards, including food safety, hygiene, and employee safety.
  • Maintain records of all compliance documentation, inspections, and audits.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new regulations, and best practices to ensure the region’s F&B operations remain competitive.

Reporting & Communication:

  • Regularly report to the senior management team on the financial and operational performance of the region.
  • Share best practices, challenges, and opportunities with other regional managers and the corporate team.
  • Ensure effective communication between F&B outlets, senior management, and other departments (marketing, HR, logistics).

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in F&B management, with at least 3 years in a regional or multi-unit managerial role.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing food and beverage operations with a strong focus on profitability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Experience in managing large teams across multiple locations is highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of P&L management, budgeting, and financial forecasting.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement operational strategies and drive change.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • In-depth knowledge of F&B industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and F&B management software.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to travel frequently between locations within the region.
  • Flexible work hours, including weekends and evenings, to meet operational needs.
  • Occasional lifting, standing, and walking as required in F&B settings.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license (for travel between outlets).
  • Strong networking abilities to build relationships with vendors, suppliers, and industry professionals.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
