Summary:
The role involves managing general ledger activities, including recording daily financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities include overseeing accounts receivable and payable processes, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and supplier payments. The position also supports audit preparations, regulatory reporting, and adherence to local and international accounting standards.
Responsibilities:
1. General Ledger Management:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents.
2. Account Receivable
- Ensure invoices are issued on a timely basis. Following up on collection status.
3. Accounts Payable
- Ensure supplier payables are properly verified and made on a timely basis.
4. Audit Preparation and Support:
- Assist in the preparation of documents and information for external audits.
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements and address any findings.
5. Compliance and Regulatory Reporting:
- Ensure adherence to local and international accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare and submit necessary reports to regulatory authorities.
Requirements:
1. Education and Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Language Skills:
- Strong English communication skills are a plus.
3. Experience:
- 2 years of experience in accounting or related field.
- Experience in a similar industry or role is advantageous.
4. Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
5. Attention to Detail:
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.
6. Team Player:
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Adaptability:
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Additional Information:
- Office Hours: Monday - Friday (10.00am - 7.00pm)
- Office Location: Menara Bangkok Bank
- Convenient by public transport (LRT Dang Wangi and Monorail Bukit Nanas)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
