Job Description :
- Directing, coordinating, and supervising the activities of vendors/contractors, includes the in-house staff performing the operation, maintenance, and repair on all facilities equipment.
- Generating of the annual maintenance schedule and delegating defined tasks to team members. The manager shall conduct site inspections and identify areas requiring additional maintenance works.
- Create a standard for maintenance procedures and checklists, ensuring scalability and sustainability.
- Responsible for protecting and improving the value of our assets and ensuring the critical engineering systems reliably perform their intended function.
- Work requires strong formal conduct of operations skills, technical expertise, personal accountability, and flawless execution of work activities commensurate with a highly critical environment and associated expectations for exceptional customer satisfaction and confidence.
Requirements :
- Proficient in English through all mediums of communication. Prepare incident report.
- Professional Certifications such as Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM), Certified Facility Manager (CFM), or similar are a plus.
- Chargeman Special Grade (G9) or equivalent certification is a strong advantage, especially for managing high-voltage systems.
- At least 10+ years of experience in facility and infrastructure management, with a focus on data centers, server maintenance, and critical systems operations.
- Strong background in managing high-availability systems, including experience with data center environments, HVAC systems, power distribution systems, and backup power systems (e.g., UPS, generators).
- Proven track record in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing high-performance systems.
- Experience with data center monitoring tools, asset management, and maintenance management systems (e.g., CMMS).
- Strong understanding of networking and server technologies, including storage, virtualization, and cloud services.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, capable of motivating and developing a team of engineers and technicians.
- Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in troubleshooting complex technical issues in high-availability environments.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for data center environmental controls, security protocols, and regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO, ITIL, Uptime Institute).
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical teams, management, and external vendors.
- Proficient in budget management and the ability to optimize resources for cost-efficiency.
- Relevant certifications related to data center operations, high-voltage electrical systems, and facilities management are highly desirable.
- Boiler Operator certification (if applicable) and safety training certifications like OSHA are a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to RM17,000.00 per month
