Electrical Expert

Job Description :

1. Overall Lead for maintenance task assigned and monitor performance of assigned responsibilities. Perform repair and/or troubleshoot ensuring that work performed in critical environment is accomplished efficiently with a minimum amount of disruption and inconvenience to customer.

2. . Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, and inspections of assigned critical environment systems, which may include the following Electrical systems on mechanical (including HVAC, computer room air conditioners, chillers, and plumbing) electrical (including UPS, DC battery systems, PDU, generators, transfer switches, and switchgear).

3. . Responsible for supervising prior to sign-off the maintained equipment/system done by maintenance vendor or OEM vendor. Ensure maintenance vendor follows closely to the maintenance work method statement without deviation and sign off for each work step.

4. Process Change Control Application Process work efforts for the safe and compliant operation, maintenance (corrective and preventive), and modification of critical equipment.

5. Perform the role of technical support onsite, guiding team members on first level fault analysis with vendor discussions. Provide direction and guidance for team members on new facilities testing and commissioning, working closely with the project team.

6. Provide on-the-job training and technical support to engineers and technicians.

7. Monitor critical spare parts level of inventory onsite to support continuous operation without impact.

8. Deliver all maintenance tasks for customer’s service level agreement always comply to the SLA covers.

9. Monitor work order for Preventative and Corrective maintenance on critical systems.

10. Develop safe maintenance Change Control Application. Implement or ensure implementations of Change Control Application or work method statement including LOTO (log out/tag out) required under Change Management Workflow Process for assigned facilities and systems.

11. Perform all work safely in accordance with the governing Safety Program. Comply with company policy and local law for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials. Maintains a clean and safe workplace.

12. Implement SOP and ERP and have in-depth understanding of the critical system/facilities

13. Update tools and supply inventories as appropriate.

14. Ensure that compliance with all regulatory laws and guidelines is met as they relate to the operation of the building’s infrastructure and including work deliveries.

Requirements :

1. Proficient in English through all mediums of communication. Prepare incident report.

2. Good knowledge of all laws that govern building management and maintenance, including building safety, emergency evacuation and environment protection.

3. Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering field with min. 5 years of relevant work experience in Data Centre environment or Hi-tech factory/plant (e.g., semi-conductor).

4. Technical knowledge with hands on knowledge/experience and understanding of critical data center systems, focusing mainly on electrical systems, including and not limited to HVAC, Standby emergency power, uninterruptible power supplies, and associated infrastructure.

5. Proficient in computer applications and software, including commercial computerized maintenance management systems, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

6. Preferably 33kV/11kV chargeman qualification.

7. Requires working out of office hours as technical support, 24/7 support to site operation team. To be onsite for incident support.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to RM20,000.00 per month
