Assistant Maintenance Manager

• Assist in training new staff members concerned within his portfolio and to develop the skills and ability of staff members to handle guest situations properly in efficient and courteous manner
• Assist in ensure maximum control of expenditures through effective utilization of manpower and physical asset of hotel
• Maintain close inter-departmental and other departments liaison
• Assist in delegating tasks to meet maintenance schedule and satisfy employer needs conduct periodic checks on execution of policies
• Assist in ensure the repairs & maintenance and energy management plan are conducted in the most economical way
• To keep all equipment in good repair with a minimum of downtime by providing daily maintenance of the hotel
• Knowledgeable in chemicals handling procedures materials usage and maximizing the safety of the environment and in accordance with the law
• Knowledgeable on all materials, tools, parts and equipment related to the field of operation
• Ability to write routine reports kept logs and correspondence
• Assist in direct and distribute the work in proper way within the employees regardless skill levels in order to minimize human error
• To be thoroughly familiar with the emergency procedure and member of Hotel Fire Squad
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety and rules, Safety Awareness information, technical drawing, operating and maintenance instruction and procedure manual
• Perform any other duties as required by the Management
• The Management serves the right to alter the duties and responsibilities of the position as business demands require without prior notice

SUMMARY

Assist Manager to ensure smooth operation and efficiency of Maintenance Department, to plan, direct, control, coordinate and participate in all areas and activities of the department

*Preferably from hotel background

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
